The first Huntwick Yard of the Month winners for 2012 are Scott and Sylvia Bay of
13623 Balmore Circle. Cougar pride is displayed among the varied landscape which is
highlighted by blue and yellow pansies. Among the other plants in this neat and tidy yard are
iron plants, agapanthus, knockout roses, liriope and various hedges winding around the
driveway bed. Congratulations to the Bays for persevering through the drought and
maintaining a beautiful winter landscape during these difficult months. |
March |
The home of Joseph and Nancy Putz at 13435 Belhaven Drive is our Yard of the
Month for March 2012. Stylishly pruned ligustrum and a large juniper tree overlook beds
lined with low ligustrum hedges, variegated liriope and knockout roses. Pansies and
Mexican heather provide a splash of color and a pair of tall Italian cypress frame it all in a
well-executed landscape. Make sure to drive over to the Estates and check out this months
winner. |

April |
Nicely curving stone-lined beds filled with an assortment of foundation plantings and
seasonal color highlight our April 2012 Yard of the Month. The home of Mike and Mary
Anne Vincent, located at 5418 Crown Colony has several large trees interspersed
around the property and the driveway is lined with mondo grass and roses with star jasmine
creeping up and covering the fence. Pansies, gerbera daisies, roses, rudbeckia and
camellias color the landscape and beckon you to drive by and check out this beautiful yard. |
